'Dirty John' Picked Up For A Second Season With A New Cast

Dirty John is coming back for a second season. But, it will have a new look and a new plot! While the show is returning, stars Connie Britton and Eric Bana are not. Keep reading for more details.
The show, which debuted on Bravo, wrapped up in January.
Deadline reported, Bravo and Netflix have picked it up for a second season with a different storyline, after the first did so well.
The first season of the series was based on the story of real-life con artist John Meehan, who was nicknamed Dirty John by his friends.

Eric, 50, discussed the role before the show premiered in November 2018. "I play John, who seems to be a pretty normal guy, and he meets Debra Newell, played by Connie online and they begin a relationship and things start to emerge, cracks start to appear. Her daughters are the first ones to suspect there was something wrong with him," the actor told Jimmy Fallon.
No other details about the plot for the upcoming season were given.
