Today Donald Trump became America’s 45th president. In the lead up to his swearing in ceremony, America's new leader kept busy with inauguration festivities.
Yesterday, the President Elect and his wife, future First Lady Melania, arrived at Joint Base Andrews outside Washington, DC.
Then Donald and his Vice President-elect Mike Pence headed to Arlington National Cemetery to participate in a wreath-laying ceremony.
Later in the day, Don and his family attended a “Make America Great Again Welcome Celebration” concert at the Lincoln Memorial.

The concert featured performances by 3 Doors Down and Toby Keith.
The President Elect and his wife, along with the future VP and his wife Karen, then hosted a “Candlelight” dinner to thank donors.
Kellyanne Conway, Trump’s campaign manager, took a bow for her work during the election.
Then this morning, Donald had coffee with his predecessor! Don and his wife arrived to the White House to meet with President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle before heading to the inauguration.
Just a few hours later, Donald took the oath of office of presidency with his family by his side, and became the 45th President of the United States.
