Back In The Family? Duggars Actually Wish Wild Cousin Amy A Happy Birthday
Oct. 3 2018, Updated 5:10 p.m. ET
Amy Duggar might be back in the family! The wild Duggar relative recently celebrated her 32nd birthday, and her reality TV clan surprisingly took to Facebook to wish her a happy birthday — despite reports the family was on bad terms with the rebel Duggar.
The Duggar family posted a photo on the family’s official Facebook page of Amy alongside her aunt Michelle, grandmother, some of her cousins, and her mom Deanna. “Happy Birthday, Amy! We love you!” they captioned the photo.
It was a surprising show of support for Amy, who’s notoriously different from her Duggar family. She wears pants, didn’t follow the normal courtship rules with her now-husband Dillon King, and watched mainstream TV and movies growing up.
An insider previously told RadarOnline.com that Amy wasn’t “allowed to talk about the Duggars anymore” and even had to go “through her Instagram and had to delete all the pictures she had with her cousins.”

Plus, Amy once confirmed she isn’t allowed to spend “quality time” with her cousins without going through Michelle and Jim Bob first. “They don’t want me to influence them,” she said on Instagram.
Despite their differences over the years, it seems the family is slowly allowing Amy back into the circle. Jinger Duggar recently re-followed her on Instagram, and Amy was even welcome to attend her younger cousins’ album rehearsal on an episode of Counting On this season.
