Eileen Davidson will be making quite a lot of Young and the Restless fans happy when she makes her return to the legendary soap series next month. Read on for all the details!
Soap Opera Digest reported that Eileen will be reprising her role as Ashley Abbott for a two-day visit.
She will appear on March 28 and 29. Her last episode on Y&R as Ashley aired on October 29, 2018.
“I said on my last day that I would love to come back for a visit, and I was lucky enough to have (Head Writer) Josh Griffith take me up on my offer,” she told Soap Opera Digest exclusively. “It’s always great to see my Y&R family.”
Eileen originated the role of Ashley on Y&R back in 1982. She remained on the CBS series until 1988 before coming back in 1999.
Her performance as Ashley won her the Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Drama Series last year. It was her second overall Daytime Emmy win.
