Eileen Davidson has opened up about the shocking passing of her Young and the Restless costar Kristoff St. John. Read on for all the details.
“I’ll miss you Steel @kristoffstjohn1,” Eileen tweeted on Monday afternoon, February 4, next to a broken heart emoji.
Eileen wasn’t Kristoff’s only Y&R costar to issue their thoughts on his tragic death. He began with the soap series back in 1991.
Melody Thomas Scott, who has been with Y&R for almost 40 years, tweeted, “Thank you all for your condolences for my dear friend Kristoff. We all loved him so much. Brokenhearted.”

Eric Braeden also issued some kind words about his Y&R costar. “Sitting by myself in my car! It’s raining outside, with dark clouds and wind outside... am reading your tweets about my friend KRISTOFF! Thank you all for your kind words! I have none right now! He was a hell of an actor and simply one of the nicest guys ever! Can’t believe it!”
Kristoff died on Sunday, February 3. One of his friends reportedly went to check on him at his home in San Fernando Valley, where they found his body.
Police and paramedics were alerted and responded. He was pronounced dead at the scene. The LAPD confirmed his death on Monday, February 4.
RadarOnline.com reported that Kristoff’s autopsy has been completed, but the cause of death is deferred. “The Medical Examiner is requesting additional investigation and laboratory testing,” a spokesperson told Radar exclusively.
