Elin Nordegren's ex-boyfriend Chris Cline died in helicopter crash in the Bahamas on Thursday, July 4. The coal tycoon passed away at the age of 60 one day before his July 5 birthday.

West Virginia Governor Jim Justice announced the devastating death on Twitter. “Today we lost a WV superstar and I lost a very close friend,” Jim tweeted.

He continued, “Our families go back to the beginning of the Cline empire – Pioneer Fuel. Chris Cline built an empire and on every occasion was always there to give. What a wonderful, loving and giving man.”
