
RHOC Newbie Emily Simpson Speaks Out After Fans Call Her Fat

She might be the new wife on the block, but Emily Simpson is already making it clear that she won’t let anyone walk all over her. The Real Housewives of Orange County cast mate recently took to Twitter to speak out against body shaming. Read on to see what she had to say!

Under a series of full-length pictures of herself she wrote, “It’s never ok to call a woman fat, fata**, plus-size, etc.”

“I will take the criticism and be the voice for all the women out there that feel inadequate because they don’t fit someone’s ridiculous standard of beauty,” she continued.

She ended on a positive note, “Be strong. Be proud. Be confident. I got you.”

On Instagram she continued her words of inspiration. She told her followers, “Love yourself, love your body. Always walk into a room and own it. Make eye contact. Hold your head high. Don’t let anyone make you feel inadequate because they are thinner than you.”
Emily, her husband Shane, and their three children have all joined the 13th season of RHOC.
