Kylie Jenner is under fire for her cell phone habits. The makeup mogul was slammed on social media after she shared videos on Instagram as she drove her $3M Bugatti throughout Los Angeles and listened to music. Kylie, 22, owns multiple luxury cars which has previously got her in trouble with fans.
As Kylie mouthed the words to Kid Cudi’s ‘My World” as she was behind the wheel and filmed her November 5 drive. She turned the camera to face the road, and her Instagram followers could recognize her manicured fingers that gripped the steering wheel.
Fans were unimpressed by her decisions and flocked to Twitter to address the safety hazard. They called the Kylie Cosmetics CEO reckless and irresponsible. “'See, this is what we DON’T do @KylieJenner, being on your phone and driving is ILLEGAL and DANGEROUS,” one user tweeted.
Another was shocked that no one warned the reality star about how dangerous this could be. “Why does Kylie Jenner constantly take videos of herself driving??? does she genuinely think it makes her look cool because all I see is an immature girl with no consideration for the people she’s putting in danger.”
Other fans said that the Keeping Up With The Kardashians star should be a better influence for her millions of followers. “I honestly don’t understand how nobody has called @KylieJenner out for using her phone whilst driving,” they wrote. “I’ve seen her do it on her insta stories numerous times! Seeing as she’s got such a following it’s not setting a great example! Winds me up so much!”
“Kylie Jenner recording and posting Instagram videos WHILE DRIVING sure is a good influence. Come on, girl. You’ve got a big audience,” another chimed in.
One fan questioned how Kylie has recorded herself driving multiple times, and has yet to face any legal consequences. “How does Kylie Jenner get away with posting videos of her posing in her designer car WHILST driving to her 150 million followers and not get arrested?” they wrote. “People seem to be ignoring the amount @KylieJenner is on her phone while driving?? We acting like that isn’t illegal and doesn’t cause horrific accidents??” another tweeted.
Kylie owns multiple luxury cars, including several Ferraris, a Lamborghini Aventador, multiple Mercedes and a few Rolls Royces. Her collection also has caused a backlash, as fans called her out in July after she showed off the lavish collection on Instagram.
"Wonder what would happen if you put some of that money into helping other people instead of just yourself," one fan wrote. “Displaying so much wealth you can’t help thinking about helping others,” someone else chimed in at the time.
