Fans Troll Jill Duggar For Her Sweet Potato Recipe: ‘That Just Ain’t Right’

Jill posted this selfie of her and a pan full of sweet potatoes, which were from her own garden. “Super excited about these baked sweet potato fries! #gardentotable We didn’t get as many as I’d hoped, but the ones we did get are great!! #mythumbisntasgreenasmysisters.” She also directed fans to her website for the recipe.

Fans were full of commentary regarding Jill’s veggies, from the way they were cut to the type of cooking spray she used. “Is anyone else noticing that those ‘fries’ are cube shaped? That just ain't right,” one fan commented.

“Just a little tip….instead of using pan spray which is full of chemicals…try a little coconut oil. It’s so yummy!” one fan commented, while another wrote, “No oil at all works perfectly as well – eliminate the saturated fats.”

Another follower slammed Jill for using “completely bland flavors” and said to be fries she needed to cut the potatoes into spears. “Girl, hot mess…” another fan simply wrote.

Someone else suggested Jill hire a private chef. “Really, Sweetie, use a little of the money you have socked away and hire a private chef for some cooking lessons. You would greatly benefit from tips,” they wrote, adding, “What you did at your parents home was institutional type cooking and I wouldn’t serve it to anybody I cared about.”

Still, some fans stuck up for Jill. “All she has to do is post anything and boom, out comes all the dumbest most critical comments,” a fan wrote. Another agreed, writing, “I see the trolls and haters are out in full force.”
