Just a day after her beloved dog Blue died suddenly, former Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham was spotted taking the late Pomeranian to a taxidermist to be preserved forever.
Early Thursday morning, Farrah shared the news that Blue had passed away. She posted an emotional video on Instagram, revealing that she made the difficult decision to put him to sleep Wednesday night.
“We are both so happy we could be with Blue during his last little moment,” Farrah cried in the video alongside her daughter Sophia.
“I remember like yesterday bringing him home to Sophia from Florida and having Blue in our lives for 5 years now brought such a sense of love, support, relief, joy, fun & so much more I’ll be grateful for the rest of my life,” Farrah said. “As a single mom this little guy has been my right hand man through everything.”
Farrah revealed in the video’s caption that she planned to take Blue to the taxidermist. “I always said if he ever passed I would stuff him and put him on my shelf so I hope for our memory of our best friend BLUE to be brought back home soon again thanks to pet taxidermy,” she wrote.

Farrah stayed true to her word. The same day, she was spotted taking a box containing the pooch’s body to an L.A. taxidermist.
Blue’s death came just days after fans slammed Farrah for a dead dog prank. In a Snapchat video, Farrah dared her daughter to tell a friend her dog died. She later claimed it was for a webseries called Kids Dare, RadarOnline.com reported.
In the midst of Farrah’s tragedy, it was announced Bristol Palin would be replacing her on Teen Mom OG. When asked about the news, Farrah told Us Weekly, “Who cares! Sorry I’m dealing with a family loss right now. I don’t care as there’s no replacement for me, as we all know.”
