Michael Abraham rushed to his daughter Farrah Abraham’s defense in a series of tweets over the weekend. After fans mocked the Teen Mom OG star, Michael said there was a reason for Farrah’s bad behavior on the MTV series. “Farrah’s is from her trauma — shame on you for your judgement,” he tweeted. When one fan asked what Michael meant by “trauma,” he replied, “It was many things…fighting between her mom & father, Debra & her physical actions toward Farrah & her sister. Farrah was raped a few years ago.” Michael spoke with RadarOnline.com exclusively about his explosive comments and how Farrah is moving forward from her dark past.
“The rape trauma was during the time she sold the sex tape video to Vivid,” Michael told Radar. “She was doing appearances at clubs.”
As OK! readers know, Farrah previously accused her sex tape co-star James Deen of raping her after they filmed Farrah Superstar: Backdoor Teen Mom.
“I’ve learned and I need to admit what happened – this was conspired, this was a form of rape,” Farrah said at the time. “I was drugged and manipulated. He’s a disgusting person.”

While Farrah’s father refused to name her attacker, he did say, “Any time a person is raped, it’s wrong. When a person says no and there is no consent, that is rape period!”
Despite her past trauma, Michael said Farrah continues to push forward and is even in therapy.
“She doesn’t want to fail, even though it’s being human, the trauma is what keeps pushing her to try to do better,” Michael told Radar. “She’s impatient and makes mistakes, but the trauma is what made her very independent and extremely motivated.”
