See The Trailer For The Upcoming ‘Downton Abbey’ Movie

The Crawleys are back! The first trailer for the Downton Abbey movie has been released, 9 months before it's set to land in theaters. The award-winning show aired on TV for six seasons, before it signed off in 2015. Scroll through to watch to watch the sneak peak.
While not much about the movie has been revealed, some secrets have been spilled.
For starters, Lily James who played the role of Lady Rose MacClane will not be in the film. She told People, “I’m sadly not, but I’m so excited for it — I’m going to be front row."
Other stars like Michelle Dockery, Maggie Smith and Hugh Bonneville will be featured in the motion picture version.

Actress Phyllis Logan who played Elsie Hughes, said the movie picks up two years after the show ended, in an interview with Britain’s Loose Women.
