The romper-for-men, fittingly named the RompHim, has taken Twitter by storm and inspired a boatload of hilarious memes that may or may not have had us spitting our AM coffees out in laughter. If you weren't already filled in, the questionable new trend began when ACED Design started a Kickstarter campaign for their onesie design that they're hoping will be guys' new "favorite summer outfit." But it turns out that there are a few famous trendsetters out there who actually rocked the male romper way before it was synonymous with "the start of a fashion revolution." Who knew?!

Sean Connery, AKA Agent 007, did it first in the 1964 hit Goldfinger. If anyone can pull off this look, it's gonna be James Bond.

Martin Lawrence was way ahead in the fashion world when his smooth character, Romey Rome, rocked a romper on the hit 90's show Martin. And we're all for the Cleveland Cavaliers star channeling these vibes.
