Days after news of their split went public, it seems Gage Edward isn’t quite ready to let go of his ex Jeff Lewis. During the February 1 episode of his Jeff Lewis Live podcast, Jeff revealed Gage expects them to reconcile at some point.

"I'll be honest with you,” the 48-year-old told his audience. “I did talk to Gage yesterday. He was at the house and we put our daughter Monroe down together and we talked a little bit in the kitchen before he went back to his hotel room.”

That’s when Gage got candid about their breakup. “He said, 'You know, I really feel like by you announcing that, it made things final,'" Jeff said. "And I said, 'You know, I don't think that it actually made it final. I think every single person we know is hoping for a reconciliation.'"

"I don't think anyone would be upset if we worked it out in a month or two or three or four or five,” the Flipping Out star added.

Jeff took a moment to open up about his decision to end their relationship. "It is called the 'Gage Edward Roller Coaster.' And what happens is, one day, he loves you, the next day, he doesn't. One day, he's attracted to you, the next day he isn't. One day he wants to sleep in your room, the next day he doesn't," he explained. "I am a gay human yo-yo, and I'm sick of being a gay yo-yo. I don't want to be a yo-yo anymore. So that's why I got off the 'Gage Edward Roller Coaster.'"

However, like his currently estranged partner, Jeff is hopeful they will get back together. "Honestly, I'm hoping that the guy wakes up,” he told listeners during the January 31 episode. “I'm hoping that he wakes up. I'm hoping that he sits in that hotel room alone, he misses his family, he misses his life, starts focusing on the positive and stops focusing on the negative. So let's just pray.
