Reality star Kim Zolciak is sharing her heartache after losing her beloved dog Chanel this week. The former The Real Housewives of Atlanta star revealed on Twitter Tuesday that she and her family made the decision to put the dog down.

“One of the hardest days of my life today! We had to put our ‘little fur ball’ Chanel down. We had her almost 12 yrs! My heart is so broken,” Zolciak said in a Twitter post.
She also posted an image to her Instagram of her daughter Ariana Biermann holding Chanel and her footballer hubby Kroy Biermann using Face Time to video chat from London before Chanel was put down.

But in a Twitter exchange with her daughter Brielle Biermann, she let it be known that her favorite pooch could never be replaced.
By Wendesday, though, Zolciak seemed to be in a better mood. She posted an image of herself drinking a protein shake before running her heartache away with a little cardio.
