George Clooney And Wife Amal Are Not The Royal Baby's Godparents — So Who Will Be?

George Clooney and wife Amal are close pals with Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, but they aren't the godparents of the royal couple's newborn baby boy, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor. Scroll through for details!
George, 58, and Amal, 41, have formed a solid friendship with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, but they weren't asked to step up to the plate and fill the big role.
"Everybody loves their rumors. It's not true. You don't want me to be a godparent of anybody. I'm barely a parent at this point. It's frightening," the actor told Extra at the premiere of his new Hulu show Catch-22.
The little heir was born on the same day as George, and the Oscar winner is not happy about it! "It's kind of irritating, if you think about it. Cause I've already had to split it with Orson Welles, Sigmund Freud, and now this comes in. I'm moving down the line very quickly," he joked about sharing a birthday.

So who might be chosen to be Archie's godparents? Fans have their guesses!
Coming in at the top of the list is Meghan's best friend and stylist Jessica Mulroney. The two formed an unbreakable bond while the American beauty was living in Toronto and working on Suits.
Another contender is Harry's longtime best friend Tom "Skippy" Inskip. Tom was one of Harry's groomsmen at the royal wedding in May 2018.
