Gigi Hadid doubled as a model and a security guard at the Chanel Spring/Summer 2020 show during Paris Fashion Week! A prankster, who has been identified as French Youtuber and comedian Marie Benolel, ran onto the runway during the October 1 show, but was stopped by Gigi before hitting the main stage.
Marie, 28, wore a black and white tweed skirt suit, a bowler hat, tights, and chunky black heels in an attempt to blend in with the Chanel pieces. The French prankster rushed onto the runway during the finale from the seating area and did an exaggerated strut in between the actual models of the show.
In a video captured by an attendee, security scoured the stage from the audience in order to locate the prankster amongst the models but failed to do so.
Marie broke free from the lineup and started walking to the main stage, where Gigi, dressed in a sequined print top, black shorts and tights, quickly blocked her.
The prankster struck a pose but Gigi, 24, wasn’t amused! The model put her hand on Marie’s shoulder and escorted her off the stage.
Marie attempted to put up a fight about leaving and Gigi stood firm until she fully exited from the runway.

“I did it at the Etam show last week, but it wasn’t so great of a challenge so I wanted to up my game. So, of course, it meant one thing: Chanel,” Marie told The Love Magazine after she was booted from the venue.
Many eyes were watching the Chanel show not just because of the prankster, but because it is the new Creative Director Virgine Viard’s first solo ready-to-wear collection since Karl Lagerfeld’s death in February.
Gigi reposted videos on her Instagram Story in which someone referred to her as a “superhero” and another person called her a “queen” after the show.
Supermodel Kaia Gerber and rapper Cardi B were among some of the talents to walk the runway at the Chanel show.
