Some of the biggest names in the fashion industry came together to celebrate Karl Lagerfeld's extraordinary life at the "Karl For Ever" memorial, held at the Grand Palais on June 20, 2019 in Paris, France.
Gigi Hadid spoke with reporters after walking the red carpet. The model was close with the Chanel designer before his passing and frequently walked in his runway shows.
Pharrell Williams performed at the event. He rocked a schoolboy blazer with shorts and loafers as he sang for the crowd.
Cara Delevingne, clad in a frilly pink gown, gave a speech during the ceremony. Actress Tilda Swinton also shared some words with the audience.

Model Claudia Schiffer was on hand and looked timeless in an all black outfit, which she accessorized with a large Chanel bag.
The venue was covered in pictures of the late fashion icon. The tribute opened with a video of Karl interviewing himself, and taped videos from industry notables like Anna Wintour and Carine Roitfeld followed.
Karl passed away from pancreatic cancer at the age of 85 in February 2019.
