We all saw Hadid strut on the catwalk in Paris for the Victoria's Secret fashion show, clad in strings, lace, and feathers, leaving almost nothing to the imagination. 

Also noticeable, was how much thinner the 21 year-old model appeared.

With an impossibly small waist, ribs peaking out and hip bones jutting, audiences were left wondering, "Is she ok?"

While hosting a panel after a Reebok event in New York, Hadid revealed the significant health issue that has been afflicting her and causing extreme weight fluctuations.

The #PerfectNever campaign spokesperson told Elle that she was diagnosed with a thyroid condition about 2 years ago. "I have Hashimoto's disease. It's a thyroid disease, and it's now been two years since taking the medication for it, so for the VS show I didn't want to lose any more weight..."

"I just want to have muscles in the right place, and if my butt can get a little perkier, then that's good," she said. She works on the those muscles through rigorous boxing workouts which she prefers to just going to Equinox and running.
