It Gets Worse! This Girl Was Attacked By A Sea Lion & That Was Just The Beginning Of Her Nightmare
A little girl’s trip to a popular dock in Canada may have just gotten worse. In a viral video, the child is seen trying to interact with a sea lion, though there are signs around the dock warning tourists and others against feeding sea lions. The animal ended up coming out of the water not once, but twice, and the second time, it grabbed the girl and dragged her forcefully into the water.
Fortunately, her grandfather did not hesitate and jumped into the water to rescue her, but more details have been released about the scary ordeal.
The girl sustained minor injuries to her back and also is being treated in case she has contracted mycoplasma phocacerebrale, a rare bacteria.
Due to her exposure to the sea lion, the 6-year-old is being treated for “seal finger,” which can result from her encounter with the large mammal. Even if the sea mammal didn't bite her finger, she is still at risk on other areas of her body.
