Gretchen Rossi and Slade Smiley have not been shy about sharing their fertility struggles over the years, but the Real Housewives of Orange County stars—who still have yet to get hitched!—have figure out their next step in their road to baby!
According to Life & Style, Smiley, 42, decided to have a vasectomy reversal in hopes of having a baby with the 37-year-old RHOC star.
“Gretchen and Slade want to have a family together, and they want to do it the old-fashioned way,” the source said.

The report goes on to say that Slade, who has two sons, “thought he didn’t want to have more children until he fell in love with Gretchen.”
The couple have spoken in much detail about their struggles to conceive, including detailing her IVF process and surgeries to OKMagazine.com, though it hasn’t been successful. “I was devastated,” she said. “You feel this huge sense of loss.”

As for their wedding day, that’s been delayed, too! “The reason that the wedding has been postponed so many times is not because they have doubts that they are meant to be together,” a source said. “They are definitely still getting married and are very much in love.”
