Bachelorette alum Joe Amabile, AKA Grocery Store Joe, was sent home during Monday night’s episode of Dancing With the Stars. He had made it all the way to semi-finals with his pro dance partner, Jenna Johnson, but he didn’t seem the least bit upset to go home.

In his exit interview, he joked with ET and said, “I feel wonderful. No, I feel good.”

He admitted, “I wouldn’t have changed anything. I’m very happy with it. I was myself the whole time.”

Joe continued to joke, “Do I think I’m the best dancer in the competition? No. Do I have the best smile? Probably. We thought we were going to get eliminated at week one, so I couldn’t have asked for it to go better.”

The Bachelorette alum kept the humor going as he said his least favorite part of his time on DWTS was “performing.” He eventually got serious and said, “I don’t know if I had another dance in me, that’s why I was kind of relieved.”

His girlfriend and fellow Bachelor In Paradise co-star Kendall Long – who encouraged him to go on the show since it filmed in her city – went to the semi-finals in support. She was joined by other Bachelor alumni Nick Viall and Dean Unglert.
