Gwen Stefani may be a world renowned superstar, but even she has trouble saying goodbye. The mother of three had to send off her youngest, Apollo, to kindergarten this September.
While speaking with Entertainment Tonight about her hectic life, the 49-year-old admitted she was sad to see her five-year-old son run off to school.“I got a baby in kindergarten now and that was devastating,” she told the publication. “But he’s so excited and he’s doing so well. I got junior high… God gave me all three boys. I’ve always been surrounded by boys.”
The Voice coach also shares sons Kingston,13, and Zuma, 11, with ex-husband Gavin Rossdale. The singers were married from 2002 until 2016 “I didn’t expect to be doing her Las Vegas residency and The Voice at the same time,” she told ET. “I just feel like I’m alive in a way I’ve never been before, because I have to be! Because doing both is a lot.”
The former No Doubt lead singer has been dating her co-coach Blake Shelton since 2015 after meeting no the NBC singing competition. Last month, Blake, 43, and the blonde beauty bought a house together in Los Angeles.
The house they purchased together once belonged to Jennifer Lopez. The home was the place where she tied the knot with ex-husband Marc Anthony. Gwen and the country star's new mansion features a pool, fitness center, guest house and tennis court.
A source told ET that although the pair are moving in together, a wedding may not be in the near future. "Blake and Gwen are head over heels in love, but don't want to feel rushed to tie the knot when everything is going so well in both of their lives," the source said. "Everyone is asking what they are waiting for, but they really just don’t want to rock the boat."
But back in May 2019, an insider told OK! Magazine that the “God’s Country” star has already got the seal of approval from Gwen’s parents, Dennis and Patti, who think “their daughter and Blake make a great couple.”
