Gwen Stefani might of moved on with her new boyfriend Blake Shelton right after her divorce from Gavin Rossdale, but that doesn't mean it was easy for her! In the new issue of Harper's Bazaar, the singer dished on what went down during their split and why her "dreams were shattered."
“It was so insane because not only did my family break up, but then my kids are taken away like half the time, so that was really like, ‘What?! What did I do?’ My dreams were shattered," the mother-of-three said. "All I wanted my whole life was to have babies, be married, like what my parents have."
Gwen and Gavin split after 13 years of marriage after he allegedly cheated on her with the family's nanny. "It was the beginning of hell. Like six, seven, eight months of torture, trying to figure out this big secret," she said.

However, despite going through a public divorce, Gwen was able to find love again with the country singer. While she was going through her split, he also announced that he was divorcing his wife Miranda Lambert.

Gwen admits that even though she is an open book, there are some things she will keep to herself. "It's because I have children," she said. "As a famous person, you start to think,'I can't say all that because I'll embarrass them or hurt them in some way.' And especially now because they can see everything and hear everything."
