New York Fashion Week is the most trendy time of year, and fashion is all about taking risks. That’s exactly what Gwendoline Christie did while attending this year’s Calvin Klein fashion show. She showed up in an outfit no one could have predicted. Keep reading to check out her unique look.
The UK-native proudly strutted her stuff in a pair of silky purple pajamas!
She also added a pair of strappy, studded heels and curled her trademark blonde hair perfectly. Her glam accessories made it absolutely clear that she was ready to rip the runway and not just ready for bed.
Gwendoline has been on Games of Thrones since 2012 and she recently opened up about her experience playing fan favorite Brienne of Tarth for the last time. She admitted that after her final scene, she cried.

“I know how generic it sounds but it just was, in every sense of the word, incredible that that part should come along, made for me in a way that none of my friends would’ve identified for a second,” she explained.
She continued, “They saw all of the fighting, the physicality, the fact that it was a character who was constantly being described as ugly. None of the people who knew me could understand why I would want to play that part. I had to cut my hair, change my body, strip off my make-up. This is not the person I have presented to the world at all.”
Game of Thrones is slated to return for its 8th and final season next year.
