Halle Berry was given the tremendous honor of hosting the 2018 Imagine Cocktail Party for the Jenesse organization at the Wilshire Country Club in Los Angeles on Wednesday.
The Jenesse Organization is a center whose mission is to give shelter and services to men, women, and children who are victims of domestic abuse and violence.
Halle has been an ambassador for the non-profit for almost 17 years.
"One in four women will experience domestic violence in their lifetime. This is why for 17 years, I have worked with Jenesse first hand to bring awareness to this life-or-death cause. I am proud of the achievements we have made to heal women, girls and families ravaged by violent homes and relationships,” the 51-year old said.
The Kingsman: The Golden Circle actress wore black sandals and a pretty floral mini dress to the event.
Other honorees of the night included the Black Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles Foundation, Laphonza Butler the President of SEIU Local 2015 and Dr. Peter Long, President and CEO of Blue Shield of California Foundation.
