Halle Berry, Taraji P. Henson & More Stars Pay Tribute To John Singleton

Celebrities from Halle Berry to Samuel L. Jackson are mourning the loss of visionary film writer and director John Singleton. The Boyz N the Hood director passed away at the age of 51 after falling into a coma as a result from a stroke. Scroll through to read the kind words that stars had to say about John.
Samuel starred in John's action flick Shaft back in 2000. The actor wrote on Twitter, "Mourning the loss of a collaborator & True Friend John Singleton. He blazed the trail for many young film makers, always remaining true to who he was & where he came from!!! RIP Brother. Gone Way Too Soon!"
Oscar winner and Poetic Justice star Regina King shared a sweet throwback of her and John. She captioned it, "Rest In Power, my friend. One of the greatest to ever do it."
