Halsey opened up in a no holds barred interview with Glamour magazine where she addressed her on-again/off-again relationship with G-Eazy. She revealed the lessons she learned from her recent split with the rapper and the pressure it had on her.
The 24-year-old confessed, "The biggest lesson I learned was to make art, not headlines."
"Because it can become quite easy, in the social media generation, to go from being a musician to becoming a personality," she added.
The article also stated that the singer "felt immense pressure to comment publicly because she’d been so transparent about her life in the past."
Halsey thought to herself, "So how are you going to do it? Are you going to stream live and start talking about everything? Are you going to go on a Twitter rant? Are you going to flag off on him on TMZ? Or are you going to make a song?"
