Halsey really loves her fans! The star happily sent one of her supporters $250 after they tweeted about getting a speeding ticket because they were listening to one of her songs. Scroll through for all the details.
Halsey, 24, released a song called "Nightmare" on Friday, May 17 and her fans are really enjoying the new hit — perhaps a little too much!
On Tuesday, May 21, a supporter by the name of Francesca tweeted about getting a speeding ticket while listening to the track.
"Confession: Driving home from Penn State and I got pulled over/given a ticket for the first time ever," she tweeted. "When I was asked why I was going 99 miles per hour in a 70 zone I was dangerously close to admitting I was banging out to @Halsey’s new song 'Nightmare.'"
Not long after, the 24-year-old responded to Francesca, "What’s your Venmo. I’ll pay your ticket. DRIVE SAFELY PLEASE!!!!"
Later the fan posted a screenshot of a Venmo payment they received for $250. While the profile picture and name are blurred out, we can't be sure it was the singer but it's more than likely it was!
"So this happened and I’ve never been more grateful or felt less deserving. Halsey you are unreal," she captioned the photo.
