Halsey announced on Tuesday that she and G-Eazy were taking a break from one another. But did fellow rapper Machine Gun Kelly have anything to do with this?
The "Bad at Love" singer confirmed that she and G-Eazy had split after 1 year of dating on her Instagram stories Tuesday.
"I normally keep this kind of thing private but provided our public nature I feel I need to inform my fans," she wrote. "G-Eazy and I are taking some apart. I'm eager to continue the upcoming passage of time dedicating myself to my art and career, and the duration of my tour. I wish him the best. Thanks for respecting our privacy at this time."
Now fans have speculated that Machine Gun Kelly may be the one to have caused them to split, as Halsey was spotted with the "Bad Things" emcee only days before she announced her breakup from G-Eazy.

Halsey and MGK, who were rumored to be an item in the past, were spotted hanging outside Poppy nightclub in West Hollywood. The location served as an after-party following Post Malone's concert at the Hollywood Bowl where her now ex G-Eazy made a surprise appearance.
It could just be a situation of two artists hanging out, however a source has told E! News that MGK may have his shot with her now that things are done with G-Eazy. "Machine Gun Kelly has always been into Halsey but was not looking for a committed relationship which is why she moved on with G-Eazy," an insider shared. "G-Eazy is well aware of Machine Gun Kelly and Halsey's history."
