Netflix's smash gothic horror TV series, The Haunting of Hill House, has been a hit among fans since debuting last month. It scared and thrilled viewers and kept them on the edge of their seats. The show's star, Carla Gugino, spoke to the Hollywood Reporter about the possibility of a second season.
"Mike Flanagan the creator of the show said he would be interested in the notion of an anthology, where some actors come back to play different characters," Carla revealed.
She continued, "I think he feels like he has told the complete story of the Crain family. But if I was invited and I was able to, I would really love to, just because I do love to collaborate with him."
Mike also opened up to Entertainment Weekly about another season. He said he couldn't "speculate too much" about season two but divulged his own thoughts about the possibility of a next chapter. "I think that there are all sorts of different directions we could go in, with the house or with something completely different. I love the idea of an anthology as well. But to me, I felt like the Crains have been through enough...the story demanded a certain kind of closure from us and we were happy to close the book on that family,” he explained.

"I think more than anything, the show is about haunted places and haunted people. There’s no shortage of either. So, there’s any number of things we could do, in or out of Hill House," he said.
The supernatural show also stars Elizabeth Reaser, Michiel Huisman and Oliver Jackson-Cohen.
