Hayden Panettiere and her boyfriend Brian Hickerson have only been together since August, but they might already be taking the next big step! According to sources, a recent date night lead to Brian asking a pretty huge question.
The Heroes star and her beau were spotted enjoying a low-key night at Rock & Reilly’s on the Sunset Strip.
Eyewitnesses said the 28-year-old yelled, “Everyone shut the F up! I'm about to propose to my girlfriend,” before dropping down on one knee.
Then he popped the question — except he addressed another famous blonde actress. “Dakota Fanning, will you please marry me?” he asked with a laugh.

Sources close to the couple explained the fake engagement happened when the 29-year-old bet that her boyfriend he couldn’t make her laugh in 10 seconds. Reportedly, he even got a paper ring to help his joke along.
Had it been real, it wouldn’t be the first engagement for the actress. She was previously engaged to boxer Wladimir Klitschko. However, the pair split this summer after being together for almost a decade.
