Heath Ledger left his only child, Matilda, a very special and emotional gift, a documentary that shows new footage from the actor’s personal life. The film titled, I Am Heath Ledger, will premiere on Spike TV on May 17 after it premiered at Tribeca Film Festival.
The actor died at the young age of 28 after mixing prescription drugs.
“You can tell her about things, but with her being able to visually see his movement and his expressions, it’s almost like he had actually filmed the documentary himself and pieced it together for her,” Heath’s sister, Kate Ledger told People.
Kate also dished on Heath’s relationship with Michelle Williams, saying, “He was totally smitten with her and couldn’t wait to bring her home. All instantly loved her too, so it was great.” Are you going to tune in to watch the documentary? Sound off in the comments below.
