Mischa Barton's much-anticipated debut on The Hills: New Beginnings is right around the corner. While the cast and fans alike are excited to see her back on the small screen, one cast member wasn't too keen on her joining the show. Heidi Pratt revealed that it was "frustrating" to work with the actress.
Heidi, 32, spoke candidly about what it was really like to work with Mischa, 33.
“I think it was a little frustrating for me at first, because, like, we’ve put our whole lives into this show before and after, so to have someone come in and, like, be so reserved was a little bit frustrating,” Heidi told Us Weekly .
The reality star added, "I don’t think it was intentional, I think that is, like, how she is, and she’s just a little more closed and needed a little more time to open up.”

Fellow castmate Jason Wahler agreed with Heidi and said, "She was very sheltered in the beginning. Very sheltered and shy and I think as I’ve gotten to know her...she was definitely….”
“…Misunderstood,” Jason’s wife, Ashley Wahler, interjected. She explained, “I feel like she’s, like, a little timid and not as, like, open as the rest of us, but then as soon as you hang out with her she becomes more real and raw."
But star Whitney Port couldn't stop gushing over The O.C. alum. She told Us Weekly earlier this month that she fangirled over the actress when she first texted her.
The Hills: New Beginnings premieres on MTV on Monday, June 24, at 10 pm.
