Hoda Kotb has so much to celebrate lately! The Today show host adopted her daughter, Haley Joy, in February, and now she’s making her fourth anniversary with her boyfriend, Joel Schiffman. The couple moved in together last fall, nearly a decade after Hoda divorced from her first husband, Buzis Kanga. While that relationship didn’t last, it looks like Hoda and Joel may be in it for the long haul! To mark the special occasion, Hoda posted an adorable photo of her and Joel to Instagram.
“4 years together and getting better every day,” Hoda captioned a sweet pic of Joel holding onto the hand of their newborn daughter Haley.
Hoda adopted Haley in February with Joel’s encouragement. “I said, ‘Think about it for a day or a week or whatever,’” Hoda explained to People magazine of when she first asked Joel if he’d be interested in adopting.

“And he said, ‘I don’t need a day. Let’s get this journey going.’ At that point I blubbered like a baby. It was like the dam burst,” she admitted.
While Joel wasn’t included in the adoption agency process, Hoda said, “Haley will call him Dad,” and that his name was only left off to simplify the adoption. “He has been so great. He’s such a good dad and a great influence,” Hoda said.
