Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson’s stepmom is following in her mom “Mama June” Shannon’s footsteps! Jennifer Lamb, who is married to Alana’s dad and June’s ex Mike “Sugar Bear” Thompson, has undergone weight loss surgery just like the Mama June: From Not to Hot star.

An insider close to Jennifer, who has appeared on the WE tv show, confirmed to RadarOnline.com that she decided to go through with gastric sleeve surgery.
“She feels great,” the insider told the site. Jennifer also posted an update to her Instagram page, telling fans, “By December I will have reached my goal weight. It took me 1 year to do it.”

According to the pal, Jennifer’s weight loss surgery will be documented on From Not to Hot, just like June’s was.
June underwent lap band surgery last year, but has admitted she’s gained 50 pounds since the procedure.
Jennifer became a part of Honey Boo Boo’s family when she secretly wed her father in January 2017.
