PHOTOS: Kourtney & Scott Shop to Prepare for Baby

Expectant parents Kourtney Kardashian and Scott Disick carried around a StemCyte kit yesterday while out and about in Beverly Hills. The kit is used to save a baby's umbilical cord blood in case of future illnesses. When a baby's cord blood (containing stem cells) is stored, it preserves an important biological resource that can act as "self-repair kit" if a child is stricken with certain illnesses such as leukemia. However, banking the blood is pricey, costing over $2,000 for the first year of storage with various payment plans available after that. Looks like Kourtney and Scott are well prepared for their bundle of joy due any day!
