Less than a month after the publication owner passed away, Playboy is honoring its founder by featuring him on the cover of the magazine. Hugh Hefner is the first man to grace the magazine cover solo. Click the gallery to see the spread!
The cover of Playboy's November/December 2017 issue shows young Hugh's side profile. The photo was taken in 1965 and is a classic shot of the late star.
This is the 11th cover of a man gracing the spread, however, Hugh, is the only man to be on the cover without a woman present.
According to Playboy, Hugh died two days before the issue was going to press.
