Iggy Azalea Admits She's Struggling Mentally Amid Backlash For Not Helping Dancer Having On-Stage Seizure

Iggy Azalea is responding to criticism after a recent performance in Rio De Janeiro ended with one of her dancers needing medical attention. The rapper took to Instagram and posted a troubling message in which she admitted the heightened scrutiny has left her feeling drained and exhausted.
Yesterday, Dec. 27, during her performance of the song “Black Widow,” one of Iggy’s collapsed and suffered a seizure. However, a fan-captured video showed her continuing on with the song instead of calling for immediate medical attention.
Though she later informed followers on Instagram that her dancer was okay and was recovering, it seems the 27-year-old quickly became overwhelmed by the amount of people slamming her actions.
When she returned to social media later that evening, her update was more somber. In an Instagram story text post she wrote, “Sometimes I really feel exhausted by the world. It feels like anything I do becomes an opportunity for people to tell me why I’m s**t, why my music sucks, my clothes are ugly, why I don’t matter, or why I’m a horrible person.”
“I’m worn down,” she admitted.

“The last four years,” the Australian native continued, “Have just been me existing in a world where I can do nothing right and it's hard not to feel like ‘what's the point’ and keep motivated.”
Finally she ended with a plea to her followers. “Everyone is just trying to make it through their day. Could we be a little kinder to each other?' she asked.
“Seeing how much people enjoy being awful to one another is depressing,” Iggy added.
