She Said Yes! Inside Adele's Top-Secret Wedding

During one of her five acceptance speeches at the Grammys this month, Adele let it slip that her boyfriend is now her "husband!"

Wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger, the singer and Album of the Year winner thanked her "husband" Simon Konecki, later calling him her "partner" to press, but the cat was already out of the bag.

Adele and Life Water and Drop4Drop CEO Konecki have been together for five years, and have one son, Angelo, 4, together. Heat revealed the couple married in their $10 million mansion in Beverly Hills just after the holidays.

"It was an intimate affair with just close family and friends," an insider said. "Her manager, Jonathan Dickins, was there, as well as her mum, Penny, and Simon's 10-year-old daughter, Victoria."

"The wedding was held at Adele and Simon's home because they knew it would be kept under wraps," the source told Heat. "They exchanged simple vows with an officiant who was recommended to them by a friend."

The "Hello" singer wanted to keep things simple. "Adele didn't want any fuss or to go to church," the insider said. "She just didn't want to deal with all the hoopla of a big to-do and risk people finding out about it. The ceremony itself was something they knew they wanted, but they'd been putting off for a long time."

Adele looked stunning in a white dress, according to insiders, and her glam squad gave her a "quick makeover." She's been with Konecki since 2011, when mutual friend Ed Sheeran introduced them. "He cares about me more than anything," she told 60 Minutes in 2015.

"Everyone in Adele's team was really shocked to hear her call Simon her 'husband,'" the insider said, "and the truth is she just got caught up in the moment when she was up there."
