Christina Anstead’s 9th birthday party for her daughter Taylor looked to be a big hit on Sunday, September 22. Her father Tarek El Moussa and many more celebrated her special day, which included everything from a colorful cake to a beautiful dedication that The Flip or Flop star wrote for her eldest child on Instagram.
No expense was spared for Taylor’s big day. Christina, 36, had a burger truck parked outside their home where guests grubbed on some delicious food.
Taylor chilled with her cousin Angelique poolside before the bash began. Christina shared several Instagram Stories from the party that included everyone gathered around the 9-year-old when she blew out the candles on top her colorfully decorated cake.
They later went to a carnival where Taylor and her younger brother Brayden (who Christina also shares with Tarek, 38) spun around on a teacup ride.
Christina penned a heartwarming dedication to Taylor on Instagram. The post featured photos of her eldest that date back to when she was just a baby. “Happy 9️th Birthday #TaylorReese ! Slime theme / pool party was a success,” she wrote. “Outgoing, sassy, smart and adventurous... Love being her mama!!”

Taylor’s father Tarek attended the bash with girlfriend Heather Rae Young. They made their red carpet debut on Thursday, September 5, at HGTV’s A Very Brady Renovation premiere.
Tarek posted Instagram photos from the party with Christina in one and Heather in another. The former couple, who split for good in January 2018, also spent the day together on Saturday, September 21, at Taylor’s soccer game.
“Boy does time fly!! I can’t believe Tay is 9 years old!!” Tarek wrote as the caption to one of his Instagram snaps with his daughter. “I remember when we filmed the home video and Tay was in Christina’s belly! I’ll tell you what...there is NO WAY I would have survived the last few years if it wasn’t for my little girl. We are so close and she’s my best friend in the world! Before I was a parent I never realized how much I could love a child... I’m seriously the luckiest dad alive!! This little girl is my rock! She keeps me grounded and motivates me to be better every day.”
“Love your co-parenting and both being happy at the same time!!” a fan wrote in the comments section of Tarek’s photo with Heather, 32, and his daughter. “I thought it was amazing how you all came together! Everyone looks so happy and like it was all meant to be!” another follower chimed in.
