Inside Grungy Gentleman’s Spring/Summer 2018 NYFW: Men's Runway Show

Jace Lipstein, designer and founder of Grungy Gentleman, debuted his Spring/Summer 2018 collection during his NYFW: Men’s runway show at Dream Downtown on Thursday, July 13th. Along with the Spring/Summer ‘18 collection, Lipstein also showcased the Grungy Gentleman x Indiana University collection as an Indiana University Alumni, which will be available this coming August 2017.
Models donned Maui Jim sunglasses and looks included Grungy Gentleman x Timberland & Grungy Gentleman x iSlides footwear, Grungy Gentleman x Mitchell & Ness hats.
DJ Juanyto of Hot 97 spun a playlist of mixed genres while guests sipped on Glennfiddich cocktails.
Meanwhile, backstage, the models prepared for the catwalk as their hair and makeup was done by New York Institute of Beauty.

NBA Denver Nuggets forward Kenneth Faried opened and closed the show in what was Grungy Gentleman’s 7th menswear runway show.
Notable guests including NFL cornerback/Superbowl Champion Darelle Revis, NY Knicks forward Lance Thomas, NFL running back Rashad Jennings, Former NY Giant running back/Superbowl Champion Rodney Hampton, actor James Martinez (House of Cards), actor Elijah Boothe (Netflix Luke Cage), singer/producer Bobby Brackins, and the cast of Bravo’s Summer House sat front row to experience the collection.
NIVEA Men provided gift bags for front row guests.
After the show, everyone headed downstairs of Dream to Electric Room nightclub for the after-party to celebrate Grungy Gentleman and the Spring/Summer 2018 collection.
