Too Much? Inside Lady Gaga's Dangerous Super Bowl Halftime Show

Gaga wants to sing from the top of the NRG Stadium’s dome and insiders said "her team is worried." Despite a lot of technical and safety issues surrounding the performance, sources say Gaga is “all for it” and “pushing to do it.”

“They’re writing up multiple plans about how to safely get her on the roof, including potentially cutting a hole in the ceiling of the dome,” a source said. Organizers are also considering “airlifting” Gaga onto the stadium, which has a state-of-the-art retractable roof.

Meanwhile, insiders are also worried from a legal standpoint. "Trying to figure out insurance for it is crazy,” said one source. While Gaga wants to do it live, the safer option might be to pre-tape the act as part of a commercial before the game, “depending on what they actually figure out is doable.”

This isn't the first time Gaga has done a high-flying stunt in a show. She recently performed on the rooftop of New York club The Bitter End to surprised fans in the street. Maybe she'll be able to pull off a much bigger, more risky version of this at the Super Bowl this year.
