Issa Rae is a bride-to-be! The actress’ Insecure costars confirmed on March 30 that she is engaged to longtime boyfriend Louis Diame.
Issa, 34, fueled engagement rumors after she posted photos from her Essence magazine cover shoot on March 25. In the photos, the Insecure actress sports a white dress and had a massive wedding ring.
Jay Ellis and Yvonne Orji confirmed the news to ET during the 2019 NAACP Image Award. Yvonne joked, “The reaction was all the same, like, ‘You out here in these streets getting married, boo!?’ That was the reaction.”
Jay revealed, “We all found out in different ways because we’re all on different text chains. We talk at different times, so we all found out at different times in different ways.”

Issa has yet to confirm the engagement herself and did not comment at the NAACP Image Awards although she walked the red carpet.
Since the Essence photo shoot was released the Little actress has been spotted wearing the same ring at both the NAACP Image Awards and again for an appearance on Good Morning America on April 1.
