Jacqueline Laurita Slams Entire Cast Of 'RHONJ' And Reveals Why She Won't Return
March 27 2018, Updated 5:27 p.m. ET
Jacqueline Laurita has made it very, very clear that she’s not coming back for the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. She vented her frustrations about the show on her social media Tuesday morning, where she practically went in on everyone involved, minus one key cast member. Click through for all the details.
Jacqueline, alongside Teresa Giudice, Caroline Manzo, Dina Manzo and Danielle Staub, were the original five cast members when RHONJ premiered on Bravo back in May 2010.
She was a main cast member for the first five seasons before being demoted to a “friend” of the housewives in season 6. She returned full-time for season 7, but that may be about it, since she spoke about not returning for season 9 on her social media Tuesday morning.
"I was asked by an executive producer what it would take for me to come back to #RHONJ…I said full time and a whole new cast. Lol! (Dolores Catania can stay.) I don’t like the direction it’s going in anymore,” she tweeted. "I’m a very positive person & I’m very happy with my life. I love my family & I love my friends. I want to do positive things. I love sharing my journey & knowledge I’ve gained along the way. I love helping people and that’s what I am going to continue to do.”

Sources confirmed to US Weekly that the producers wanted Jacqueline and Caroline back for season 9, but later revealed that neither of them would return. OG cast member Danielle Staub returned in season 8 as a “friend” of the housewives, and her role in the upcoming season is still to be determined.
Her reason for not coming back may have to do with her relationships with some of the women on the show, particularly Teresa and Melissa. She revealed to Entertainment Tonight back in April last year that she no longer had “an authentic connection” with either of them.
