Maggie Gyllenhaal has been on a press tour promoting her new Netflix film The Kindergarten Teacher and some of her biggest supporters came to the New York premiere Tuesday night including her brother Jake Gyllenhaal as well as her husband Peter Sarsgaard.
Maggie, who plays Lisa in the film, posed with her little brother on the red carpet. With just 3 years apart and working in the same competitive industry, the siblings have always had a huge sense of pride for each other and remained super close throughout the years.
In an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Jake gushed about his sister performing on Broadway back in 2014. “I mean, I’m biased, but I’m kind of not because I’m her little brother so I've got to be tough. She’s pretty extraordinary,” he said.
The actress looked gorgeous in a silk white halter dress. She kept her make-up fairly simple and accessorized with simple black pumps and a pair of white chandelier earrings.
