James Corden took a break from filming The Late Late Show to spend a little father-son time with his son Max in New York City on Monday. While the British entertainer is normally based in Los Angeles, where he films his hit talk show, James was in the Big Apple to attend the Met Gala Monday evening. But before he indulged in the glitz and the glamor of the A-list only event, James still managed to make time for his six-year-old son!
James and Max were spotted heading into a black SUV for a day out on the town. Maybe they played a little carpool karaoke during the ride?
Max was just three-years-old when his dad got the life-changing opportunity to take over The Late Late Show from longtime host Craig Ferguson.

Relocating from the UK to the US was a big change for James and his wife, Julia. At the time, their other child, daughter Carey, was just five weeks old!
But it looks like the big switch paid off. James and his wife were both in attendance at the exclusive Met Gala last night, which is only for the biggest stars.
