Janet Jackson called the police Saturday night to check on the welfare of her 1-year-old son, Eissa Al Mana, according to People, after getting a call from her "terrified" nanny. Eissa was at the Nobu hotel in Malibu, California with his father, Wissam, where authorities arrived around 10 p.m. Read on for more details.
"Deputies were there and called to the scene," a spokesperson for the Malibu/Lost Hill Sheriff's Station told People. "They decided the child was okay and they left."
Janet, 52, did not go to the hotel at the time, according to authorities.
The Grammy-winner grew concerned for her child after their nanny said she was “terrified” by Wissam's behavior and “locked herself in a bathroom, so she could contact Janet," the pop star's brother told Entertainment Tonight.
