The wait is almost over! Janet Jackson fans, listen up: She’s got new music on the way and she’s shooting an electrifying new video to prove it. Read on to see the pics!
It’s been three years since Janet dropped her last album, Unbreakable. And since then she’s been consumed with her personal life.
First, there was her surprising pregnancy at age 50 and subsequent birth of her son Eissa. Then there was her devastating split from ex Wissam Al Mana.
On top of all that, her father Joe passed away just a few weeks ago.

But in Brooklyn, New York on Tuesday, the icon got back to her first passion—music. She was snapped filming a colorful new music video and she couldn’t stop smiling as she looked ever so stylish in a flowy white skirt, some denim on top, and a sharp black hat.
She even recruited some adorable sidekicks for the song who lit up the set in African-inspired attire.
And of course there was dancing involved!
