Janet Jackson was spending some quality time with her son Eissa in London when the news broke that she has been named to take over Britney Spears' MGM residency in Las Vegas. The singer and her baby boy were all smiles as they enjoyed some R&R. Scroll through to see pics of them together.

The 52-year-old was seen walking hand-in-hand with her baby boy as they got off the tube at London's Stamford Brook Station.
The duo bundled up to brace the frigid winter weather across the pond.

After letting her little man stroll alongside her, she eventually picked him up in her arms and continued on.
The outing came as news broke that the five-time grammy award winner is set to replace Britney's MGM residency in Las Vegas.
The "Oops I Did It Again" singer canceled her show in January so she could be with her dad who has been suffering with some health issues lately.
